Starmobile has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as Vida. It is available in Philippines with a price Php2,490 (About 56 USD or Rs. 3,500).
The Starmobile Vida is sports a 3.5-inch HVGA touch display with 320×480 pixels of resolution and 165 PPI pixels density. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor and coupled with Mali-400MP GPU. The handset supports Dual SIM (WCDMA+WCDMA) with dual standby and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box.
The Vida comes with 512 MB RAM, but has 4GB of internal storage, that is further expandable using an external memory card (up to 32GB). It houses a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and also boasts a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. It is backed by a Li-Ion 1300mAh battery, that is rated for up to 3 hours talk time and 150 hours standby time.
The Starmobile Vida has connectivity options FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, OTA, micro-USB v2.0, hotspot, USB Tethering, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS and 3G. It measures 115 x 61.5 x 11.9 mm and weighs 108gms. It supports G-sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensors.
