The Spice – Indian network and smartphone provider, has launched its another smartphone of Stellar series, Spice Stellar 445 with a price of Rs 5299 in India, will be available from first week of July.

The latest smartphone from Spice; Stellar 445 comes is a 3G phone, sports a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) touchscreen display and 262K colours.

The Stellar 445 is powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core SoC, clocked at 1.2 GHz of speed, combined with 512MB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with dual-SIM (GSM+WCDMA) functionality; runs of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.

It boasts a 3.2-megapixel rear camera without flash, also houses an 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling through Skype and useful for selfies.

The Stellar 445 comes with inbuilt storage of 4GB capacity, can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

Commenting on the launch, T M Ramakrishnan, CEO, Devices, Spice Retail Ltd, said, “This is the first 10.16 cm smartphone from Spice with a quad-core processor that enables multitasking and faster speed. The idea to empower every Indian through their smartphones has been our engine of growth and we have been working towards it by proliferating data services through our 3G enabled handsets.”

Connectivity options on this Spice’s Stellar 445 included are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm headphone-jack, FM Radio, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and A-GPS.

The new budget cellphone is available in Black and White colour variants.

It is backed by a 1500mAh battery. The handset comes with Proximity and Accelerometer sensors.

The Spice Stellar 445 also comes pre-loaded with apps such as OLX, WhatsApp and Spice Cloud, which offers 2GB of free cloud storage.

Previous month, Spice has launched its first Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone, the Stellar Mi-600, with a price of Rs 9999.
