Spice has launched a new budget smartphone, dubbed as Mi-551. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 and available online in India through homeshop18 in black and white variant colours.

The new 3G smartphone, Spice Mi-551 sports a 5.5-inch IPS QHD (540*960 Pixels) touchscreen display and is powered by a MediaTek’s MT6582M chipset, alongside Quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz speed. It is further coupled with Arm Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The Stellar Mi-551 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. It has 8GB built-in storage that is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. The phone houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with flashlight and also packs a 3.2-megapixel front camera for selfie.

Backed by a 2200 mAh Li-ion battery, Spice Mi-551 once fully charged, it can provide up to 11 Hrs of talk-time and 240 hrs of standby. Connectivity options include FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, mobile hotspot and GPS. It measures 153 x 74 x 7.9 mm and weight is 165gms.
