Spice has introduced today a new smartphone, Fire One Mi-FX 1, which is based on Firefox OS. Now, the company became first Firefox OS vendor in India. Karbonn A1 Pro is also based on Firefox OS phone which will available after a week.

“Just one year after the first Firefox OS device launched, Firefox OS smartphone is now available in 17 countries across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Our partnership with Spice will be an exciting Firefox OS launch in India,” Dr. Li Gong, President of Mozilla Corporation, said.
In terms of specs, the Spice Fire One Mi-FX 1 features dual-SIM support, and powered by an 1GHz single-core processor. It sports a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display and houses 2MP rear camera, while there is an 1.3MP front camera is also available for video calling and selfie.

Along with Edge support and Wi-Fi, the Fire One Mi-FX 1 phone will come pre-loaded with Facebook, Twitter and Connect A2 applications. The phone runs on Firefox OS and packs Marketplace, which can be used to download more applications.
The device also supports several Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil and Bangla.
