SKK Mobile has announced a new smartphone in the Philippines, the Phoenix G1, with a Php 3,799 (Roughly Rs 5250).
The new SKK Mobile‘s Phoenix G1 runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS on the 5-inch IPS LCD (540×960 qHD) (~220ppi) touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, clubbed with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Phoenix G1 comes with 8GB internal storage, further expandable with up to 64GB via an external micro SD card. It houses 8-megapixel main camera, with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
In terms of connectivity options, the SKK Phoenix G1 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Dual SIM, dual standby, 3G, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and A-GPS. The smartphone measures 145.8 x 73.1 x 8.73mm and packs a 2000mAh battery under the hood.

SKK Mobile has yet to announce the exact release date and availability of its Phoenix G1 smartphone. It will be sold out in Php3,799 in the Philippines. SKK Mobile has also released an octa-core phablet, the Phoenix X1, for just Php5,499.
