How to Show Hidden Files & Folders ?

1. Open control panel and select the File Explorer Options. File Explorer Options is referred to as Folder Options in Windows 8.1 / 8 / 7.

2. A new Window will open up with a title “File Explorer Options”.

4. Under “Hidden files & folders”, select the “Show hidden files, folders, or drives” option.

5. Click on Apply then OK.

To unhide protected operating system files, uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) setting, and click Apply.
