Samsung is expanding the range of budget smartphone and launched Galaxy Star 2 KitKat based phone with the company’s TouchWiz Essence UI on top. However, the price has not been revealed yet by the company.
Along with Galaxy Star 2, Samsung has revealed; Galaxy Young 2, Galaxy Core II, and Galaxy Ace 4 also; all these phones run on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box; and TouchWiz UI on the top.
The Galaxy Star 2 sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 320×480 pixels of resolution and 165ppi pixels of density.
The Galaxy Star 2 boasts a Spreadtrum processor clocked at 1 GHz of speed, coupled with 512 MB of RAM.
The Galaxy Star 2 has 4 GB of internal storage and can be upgraded with up to 32 GB of external microSD cards.
It houses a 2-megapixel rear primary camera without flash; notably, there is no frontal camera on-board.
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/ g/ n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, Micro-USB, and dual SIM (GSM+GSM /dual Standby / dual 2G) are the main connectivity options of this Samsung’s Galaxy Star 2.
The phone comes with an Accelerometer sensor. Measuring the Galaxy Star 2, size is 109.80 x 59.90 x 11.80 mm, weighs 107.60 gm.
The cellphone comes with a 1300mAh non-removable battery, with no rating of talk time and standby time.
