Samsung has introduced a new smartphone, Galaxy S Duos 3, the successor of its Galaxy S Duos 2 in India, for Rs 8,150. Additionally, Galaxy Star 2 is also listed in the company store with a price of Rs 4,580.
The new Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 will be available in Gray and White variant colors. It is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the company TouchWiz Essence UX on top. It features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) TFT display and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM).
The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB inbuilt storage, but no word on expandable storage. Galaxy S Duos 3 houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a VGA front camera that is also fixed.
It includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G in terms of connectivity options. It is backed by a 1500mAh battery, measures 121.4×62.9×10.8mm, and weighs 124 grams.
