Samsung Galaxy S Broadband LTE-A (KT) SM-T805K is now available for pre-order in South Korea with a price of 824,000 Won (US $767.95 or €613.91). It is a variant model of Galaxy Tab 10.5, which is available in India with a price of Rs 44,800.
The Samsung Galaxy S LTE-A SM-T805K runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box and features a 10.5-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 5433 processor, coupled with the ARM Mali-T760 GPU and clubs 3GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S LTE-A comes with 32 GB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 128 GB of MicroSD cards. It is backed by a powerful 7,900 mAh battery rated for 3G internet usage of 8hrs, WiFi usage of 9 hrs, 4G LTE usage of 9 hrs, and video playback time up to 13 hrs.
Samsung claims that the Galaxy Tab S Broadband LTE-A is the world’s first LTE-A (FDD-LTE) tablet with download speeds of up to 225 Mbps. It houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and also boasts a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with sensors like Fingerprint, Accelerometer, Geomagnetic, Gyro, Hall, and RGB.
In terms of connectivity options, it includes; micro-SIM card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n with MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, A-GPS with GLONASS, and Beidou, MicroUSB v2.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The slate is also compatible with the Gear Fit Manager and Gear Manager for connecting Samsung’s wearable devices and smart-watches. The tablet is available in Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White colors.
