Earlier this year, Samsung started introduced its new Galaxy A-series smartphones that features metallic properties and premium finish.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A7 at the start of this year with an octa-core CPU. Shorty, the South Korean company, will introduce A7’s successor – A8 (SM-A800) in various Asia and European regions. The Galaxy A8 might come with a fingerprint sensor in a mere 5.9mm thick body as per recent rumors.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 packs a 5.7” 1080p Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset arming 2GB of RAM and a 1.4GHz octa-core processor. For imaging, it houses a 16 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It will also come with 16 GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy A8 will run TouchWiz UX based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It will also offer 4G LTE support, Adreno 405 GPU, and a 3,050 mAh battery.
