Samsung has announced today Galaxy A3, along with Galaxy A5. Both smartphones have full metal unibody and slim designs, but it has not been priced yet.
The new Samsung Galaxy A3 features 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD Super AMOLED Capacitive display and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It is backed by a 1900mAH battery and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box. It is equipped with 16GB of internal memory and also expandable up to 64GB with microSD.
The Galaxy A3 houses an 8-megapixels rear-facing camera with LED flash and supports 1080p video recording; while there is also a 5-megapixels front-facing camera is available for selfies and video chatting. The handset measures 130.1 x 65.5 x 6.9mm dimensions and weighs 110.3 grams only.
In terms of connectivity options, the Samsung Galaxy A3 include; 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/ GLONASS, NFC (LTE version only), 3.5mm ear-jack, and micro-USB. It also supports Compass/ Magnetometer, proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.

It comes with 3000mAH battery which is rarely available in sub price of Rs 10000 phones. It is rated for up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 360 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It is available in India with a tag price Rs 7799 .
Both the flagship handset; Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 will go on sell in China in Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Soft Pink, Light Blue and Champagne Gold color options, starting November 2014.
