Sakri Launches WinTab 8 and WinTab 10 in India for Rs 13,999 and Rs 20,999

Pune-based brand SAKRI has entered into the tablet market with its two new tablets, dubbed as WinTab 8 and WinTab 10. It is priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively for India. According to the news, the company plans to release these tablets in Malaysia and Bangladesh under the brand name WinTAB.

Sakri WinTab 8The WinTab 8 and WinTab 10 runs Windows 8.1 with Bing and comes with one year’s subscription to Microsoft Office 365. An Intel Atom Z3735D processor powers both devices with a clock speed of up to 1.83GHz. It sports an 8-inches and 10-inches HD IPS touchscreen display, respectively. Both devices come with a 2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, HDMI, and MicroSD card slots.

The WinTab 8 comes with a SIM slot and features 3G connectivity. It has 1GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The tab houses a 5MP rear camera and packs a 3,800mAh battery.

On the other hand, the WinTab 10 supports 3G dongles via USB and can also be used as a laptop with a detachable keyboard. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The tab comes with a 2MP rear camera and is backed by a 7,500mAh battery.

At the launch of the WinTab’s in Hotel Lalit in New Delhi, Mr. Ravi Lakshman, CEO of SAKRI, said, “Over and above the current form factors, they will be introducing different form factors very soon to address different industry verticals.”
