Russian low-cost device maker Prestigio is extending its Windows 8.1 tablet portfolio with the MultiPad Visconte 3 tablet. The device will go on sale soon in Europe with a price of roughly $300 / €239.
The MultiPad Visconte 3 arrives in stores with a 10.1-inch IPS touch screen display, with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and 149ppi. At the heart of the slate lies an Intel Atom Z3735 Bay Trail processor, which is clocked at 1.33GHz to 1.83GHz in Turbo Boost mode. Inside the device, integrated Intel HD Graphics and 2GB of RAM if fitted. It comes with 16 GB of internal memory (expandable via MicroSD card up to 64 GB).
The Prestigio MultiPad Visconte 3 can be used with an external 3G modem and brings connectivity options; Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI output, micro USB port, and USB 2.0. It houses a 5MP rear-facing camera and also boasts a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies. It is backed by a 7000mAh battery, which seems quite capable of delivering a sufficient lifecycle.
