Camera giant Polaroid has announced a Snap smartphone for the U.S. with a price of $99.
The Polaroid Snap is a 3G smartphone, sports a 4.7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution, and is powered by a quad-core processor, alongside 1GB RAM. It runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and has 8GB internal storage, which is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
The Snap houses an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with flash and boasts a front-facing camera for video calling. The connectivity options include the phone, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB V2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. Other specifications have not been announced yet.
