Philips has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as W3509. It is listed online with a price of €111.99 (roughly 139.99 USD or 8,600) at Etotalk.
According to the online listing, the Philips W3509 runs dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and comes in black. It has 1GB of RAM and expandable 4GB internal storage (up to 32 GB MicroSD cards). It is powered by an MT6589 Quad Core 1.2GHz processor and coupled with PowerVR SGX544MP ultra GPU.
The W3509 is a dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) handset, features dual standby and a 3G network. A 2200mAh Li-ion battery backs it. The device houses a 5 MP rear camera with Flash and Autofocus, while it also boasts a 2MP front camera. It sports a 5-inch IPS-LCD display with 960×540 pixels of resolution.
In terms of connectivity options, the Philips W3509 includes FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth v3.0, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, USB Tethering, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS, and 3G. It measures 142.2 x 73.6 x 9.65 mm and weighs 178 gms. It supports proximity, light, and gravity sensors.
