Philips had launched S309 in Russia with a price of 5490 rubles (about $97 / Rs. 6200), and now the company has officially announced in India with a price of Rs 4,999.
The Philips S309 comes with a dual-core MediaTek MT6572M 1 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4-inch FWVGA touchscreen display, 4GB internal storage, 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera, 0.3 MegaPixel front-facing snapper, and 1600mAH battery. It also supports Dual-SIM (WCDMA + GSM) with dual standby functionality.
Update: Indian version of Philips Xenium S309 has only 512 MB RAM.
