After the Panasonic Eluga S, now it turns to launch Eluga I. The company has announced this flagship smartphone for India at Rs 9999. It will be exclusively available through Flipkart.
The new Panasonic Eluga I sports a 5 inch full HD IPS capacitive touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Fit Home UI on the top. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor and comes with a Gig of RAM. The device’s internal memory is 8GB, further expandable with an external memory card (up to 32 GB).
The Eluga I houses an 8-megapixel autofocus rear-facing camera with a single LED Flash and supports 1080p HD video recording at 30 frames per second. It also boasts a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. On the connectivity front, the device includes 3G, Dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, A-GPS, MicroUSB, and 3.5mm ear jack.
The Panasonic Eluga I is backed by a 2,000mAh Li-Polymer battery. The dimensions of the device are 73.6 x 147.1 x 9 mm and weigh 155 grams. It also offers multiple smart swipe gestures – a three-finger swipe down to take a screenshot, a two-finger swipe up to open messages, a two-finger swipe down to open the dialer, a three-finger swipe up to launch the camera, and a two-finger swipe to the left and right to adjust the volume.
It also supports Light, Accelerometer, and Proximity Sensors.
