Orange Launches First Firefox OS Smartphones in Africa

Firefox OS-based smartphone was announced this year in March. It was made available in South Africa; now the Mozilla launched its open-source mobile OS in other parts of Africa.

Orange is also planning to launch Firefox OS smartphones in more countries in the coming weeks.

Alcatel OneTouch Orange Klif comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touch screen display, 320 x 480 pixels resolution, 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB storage, 2MP rear camera, Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM), 3.5mm audio jack, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM Radio. It also packs a 1300mAh battery.
