As per GSMArena, Oppo has announced that the Oppo R1x smartphone is scheduled for a global launch in mid-to-late April 2015, but till now, the company has not revealed the pricing. The specifications of the handset are said to be identical to Oppo R1C.
The main highlight of the Oppo R1x is its high-strength CNC frame and sapphire-faceted back panel. It also comes with dual-SIM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch “Pixel Eye” HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
The R1x is equipped with 2GB of RAM, houses a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video chatting. The 16 GB built-in storage is further expandable via a MicroSD card (up to 128 GB).
Apart from the 4G LTE connectivity, the R1x includes FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB V2.0, mobile hotspot, and GPS options. It packs a 2420mAh battery inside the 6.8mm thin body. It is said to be launched in two color options, Blue and White.
