Oppo‘s latest smartphone Neo 5s can be seen on its global website without a pricing tag.
Oppo says the unique lamination process of the Neo 5s gives it’s back cover a smoother, cleaner, and more natural appearance. It will be available in two colors: crystal white and sapphire blue. The device’s interior is designed with a double-layer metallic structure for a more compact, thin, and seamless body.
The Oppo Neo 5s runs Color OS 2.0.1 (based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat) and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM (expandable up to 128 GB MicroSD card).
The Neo 5s is fueled by a 2000 mAh Li-Po Battery (non-removable) and features a 4.5 inches IPS TFT display with FWVGA (854 by 480 pixels) resolution. The smartphone houses an 8-megapixel with flash and f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 2-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.8 aperture for selfies.
The Neo 5s supports dual-SIM (micro+nano), and both slots feature 4G LTE connectivity. It has GSM:850/900/1800/1900 WCDMA:850/900/1900/2100 FDD-LTE: B1/3/7 bands for international users, while GSM:850/900/1800/1900 WCDMA:850/900/1900/2100 FDD-LTE: B1/4/7 are included for Mexico.
In terms of connectivity options, the Oppo Neo 5s include GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WLAN hotspot, and OTG. It also supports distance, light, G-sensor, and E-compass sensor.
