Oppo A31 with 4G LTE & 64-Bit Quad-Core SoC Launched in China at ¥ 999

Oppo has quietly launched a new budget 4G smartphone in China, dubbed as Oppo A31. It is priced at CNY 999 (Roughly Rs 10,000) and listed in the company’s online store in China, and will go up for sale on April 17.

The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano / 4G LTE+GSM) Oppo A31 runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ColorOS 2.0.1 skin on top. It sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS touch display and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor. The CPU is further coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

The A31 comes with built-in 8GB storage, which is further expandable via a MicroSD card (up to 128 GB). The smartphone houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and also a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera on-board for selfies.

The Oppo A31 includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, WiFi tethering, and Bluetooth in terms of connectivity options. A 2000mAh battery backs it. The handset measures 131.9 x 65.54 x 8.03 mm and weighs 135 grams.
