Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 launched with a price tag US $129

Along-with Worldphone SF1, the Obi has released its Worldphone SJ1.5. The phone will set you back US $129 (INR 8500) and be recorded on the organization recognized web site.

The Worldphone SJ1.5 functions as a 5-inch High Definition (1280 x 720 pixels) screen with 2.5D curved glass but has a 3G connection. The display has an oleophobic layer and Corning Glass 3 for safety purposes.

It is a dual SIM smart-phone that operates on the most up-to-date Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Obi’s own UI along it. It’s an irregular layout with squared-off a curved underside as well as a top.

The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 is driven by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 central processing unit with Mali 400 MP2 GPU, along with 1GB of Memory. It’s outfitted with 16 internal storage, further expanding with up to 32 GB micro-SD.

The mobile houses an 8MP back camera with OmniVision OV8865 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash memory. There is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies/video calling. The handset is 7.95 millimeters thick and weighs 131 gms.

The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 contains 3G HSPA, wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Global Positioning System when it comes to connection options. It’s supported with a 3000mAh (integrated) Li-pol battery.

The smartphone will soon be accessible from the beginning of Oct in India, Indonesia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, South-Africa, Pakistan, and Vietnam.
