Microsoft has launched a new smartphone, the Nokia X2 Dual SIM, in India, priced at Rs 8,699.

The new Nokia X2 Dual SIM features dual-SIM and will be available in Glossy Black, Green, Orange, Dark Gray, White and Yellow colors in India.

Microsoft says, “The Nokia X2 has also equipped with another navigation option; the brand-new ‘apps list,’ which keeps your home screen clear for your most-used apps, bringing Nokia X2 in line with the existing Lumia experience.”

The new Nokia X2 Dual SIM sports a 4.3-inch ClearBlack LCD touch display with a WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels that offers a pixel density of 217ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, clubbed with 1GB of RAM.

The Nokia X2 houses a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there a front-facing camera onboard for video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 1800mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of 2G talk time and up to 86 hours of continuous music playback.

The Nokia X2 comes with 4GB of built-in storage, expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32 GB). The Nokia X2 runs on the Nokia X software platform 2.0 OS out-of-the-box, offers FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air) software update.
