Microsoft has announced a new smartphone, the Lumia 730 Dual SIM – a selfie-focused smartphones at its pre-IFA event in Berlin. According to the company, it will be available in market with a suggested pricing of EUR 249 (Roughly Rs 23,700), and will start shipping in September.
Nokia Lumia 730 Dual SIM houses 6.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while it has 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 24mm wide angle lens. The smartphone is running on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out-of-the-box. Microsoft also says, that the Lumia Denim update will come during Q4 2014.
As name suggests, the Lumia 730 Dual SIM is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) phone sports a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) touchscreen display with a pixel density of 316ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and further it is coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The new Lumia 730 Dual SIM comes with 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The cellphone features 3G connectivity and the company is also offering 15GB of free OneDrive cloud storage. The firm is also offering a free three-month Skype Unlimited World subscription in select markets along with the new Lumia 30 Dual SIM.
The smartphone is backed by 2220mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to for 22 hours of 2G talk time and 17 hours of 3G talk time. It would be available in Bright Green, Bright Orange, Dark Grey and White variant colours.
