Rumors says that Google has partner-shipped with Huawei for the next Nexus series smartphone. The handset specs are spotted on the Weibo website posted by Jiutang Pan, a Chinese IT analyst firm, who has several news earlier regarding the Chinese smartphone makers, including Meizu, Huawei, and Xiaomi.

huawei nexusThe upcoming Huawei Nexus phone will carry a Samsung make 5.7 inch OLED screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution and boasts a Snapdragon 810 chipset. The company is already using 1080p in its own high-end smartphones, so there is no meaning to use QHD display once the users cannot find the difference between QHD and FHD. Also, Huawei uses its own Hi-Silicon Kirin chipset on almost all Huawei’s high-end smartphones. Moving to QHD display and Qualcomm’s chipset is the decision of Google only.

If this news happens true, then Huawei will become the first Chinese company to OEM Nexus phone. Stay tuned, and we will cover more about the next flagship Nexus.
