The new flagship member of MyPhone, the Rio Grande, has been launched in the Philippines with a Php 4,499 (Roughly US $100 or Rs 6,200).
The MyPhone Rio Grande comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, alongside 512MB of RAM. The smartphone houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also a VGA front-facing camera onboard for selfies. It comes with 4GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD up to 32GB.
Running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the Rio Grande also packs a big 2800mAh battery for enough running time. The handset includes 3G, HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, MicroUSB, and 3.5mm Audio Jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and clever motion (gesture controls) sensors.
