Being local smartphone manufacture, the MyPhone has managed to launch a Lollipop-based smartphone in the Philippines. Before 2 days, Rio 2 got leaked, and today, ahead of the launch, Rio 2 Lite is leaked.
MyPhone Rio 2 Lite is set to go on sale at Wiltelcom Anniversary in Gaisano Mall in Davao. The smartphone carries a special one-day sale price of only Php 3,999 but is set to retail at Php 4,599 price tag.
The Rio 2 Lite is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor and features a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen display. It also houses an 8-megapixel rear camera (Samsung sensor + Blue Glass), while there is a 2-megapixel front shooter is available for selfies.
The Rio 2 Lite supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, FM radio, and GPS. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB expandable internal storage (up to 32GB microSD card). There are no details of the battery yet.
