Major smartphone manufacturers are still providing KitKat, but Mstar from China is providing Lollipop handsets. Mstar S700 is listed for presale with a price of 169.99 US dollars through geekbuying and aliexpress. It will start delivering the item from starting 15 May 2015.
According to the online listing, the Mstar S700 sports a big 5.5-inch IPS OGS capacitive screen with 1280×720 pixels of resolution and boasts a MediaTek’s MTK6752 Octa Core 1.7GHz processor that is coupled with Mali-T760 GPU. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. The built-in storage can also be upgraded with up to 64 GB of MicroSD cards.
The S700 supports dual SIM with dual standby functionality, has ordinary + Micro-SIM slots. It houses an 8.0 MP back camera with flashlight and autofocus, while there is a 5.0 MP front camera for selfies/video calling. It supports 4G: FDD LTE:800/1800/2100/2600MHz bands.
4G/3G/GPS/A-GPS /Wifi/Bluetooth / FM Radio / tethering & portable hotspot connectivity options are included in Mstar S700. A 3000mAh Li-ion battery fuels it. It measures 150*76*8.8mm, and weight is 173 gms.
