Motorola has launched a new smartphone in India, listed at Flipkart as Moto G (2nd Generation), and will be sold out from midnight today with a price of Rs 12999. The retailer says, ” Exceptional Phone.” “Exceptional Price.” Apart from the new Moto G, Motorola has also unveiled the brand new Moto X handset and the Moto 360 smartwatch.
The new Moto G Dual SIM sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, coupled with Adreno 305 GPU. It is running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
This phone houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfies. It also comes with dual frontal speakers.
As the name suggests, the Moto G Dual SIM supports Dual SIM and has 16 GB of internal storage with an expansion slot. A 2070 mAh battery backs it. At 10.9 thick, the handset weighs 149 grams.
Moto G includes a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and GPS in terms of connectivity options. Overall, it’s a nice handset of Rs 13,000. You can also check out an earlier version of Moto G.
