Motorola‘s Moto E with 4G LTE earlier went for sale in the USA for $149.99. Now, its 3G variant has been launched in India for Rs. 6,999. It will be exclusively available through the e-commerce online website Flipkart.
Motorola’s Moto E (2nd Gen) is shipped with the latest Android Lollipop 5.0.2 OS out of the box. It features a 4.5-inch qHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, coupled with Adreno 302 GPU, alongside 1GB RAM.
The Moto E houses a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a VGA front snapper on-board for video calling. It is equipped with 8GB of built-in storage, that is further expandable with an external MicroSD card of 32 GB capacity. Motorola has added Notifications and Updates features above advanced software.
The Moto E 2nd gen includes 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, and 3.5mm sound-jack on the connectivity front. It is fueled by a 2390mAh battery, which is 20 percent more than its predecessor. The device’s back cover can be personalized with 6 available colors such as Red, Blue, Golden Yellow, Raspberry, Purple, and Turquoise.
