Before a few days, Motorola Moto 360 android smartwatch was listed on Best Buy with full features and technical specifications, priced at US $249. Now, the company has officially announced it and will be launched in India also later this month.
In IFA 2014, Motorola has unveiled the Moto 360 android wear smartwatch, along with 2nd generation Moto G and Moto X smartphones; it will be available for all these devices in India.
The Moto 360 sports 1.56-inch backlit LCD with 320x290p resolution. It comes with the option of a light or dark stainless steel case and a grey or black Horween leather band. It is backed by a powerful 320mAh battery and powered by a Texas Instruments OMAP 3 processor.
The smartwatch comes with 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It has a built-in pedometer and a heart rate monitor and comes with a heart activity tracker app. It can withstand water damage up to 3.3-feet for a maximum of 30 minutes (IP67). It has a single physical button, vibration motor, and dual microphones.
The Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch is compatible with devices running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or above. It can take voice commands and have Bluetooth 4.0. It also features wireless charging and comes with a charging dock. The smartwatch weighs 49 grams (leather strap model), has a 46mm diameter, and is 11.5mm high.
