Microsoft has announced the successor of Lumia 535 Dual SIM, dubbed as Lumia 540 Dual SIM. It is listed in the company website and also announced with a price US $149 (Roughly Rs. 9,299). It will roll out in India, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Italy in early May 2015.
The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, that runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim. The firm also offers 30GB free cloud storage.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM houses an 8-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and also boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide angle lens. The handset is equipped with 1GB of RAM and the 8GB internal storage is further expandable with up to 128GB with microSD.
In terms of connectivity options, the Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM include 3G HSPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, dual-SIM (micro / WCDMA+GSM) and GPS / aGPS. It measures 144×73.69×9.35 mm and weighs 152 grams with 2200mAh battery, which is rated for 24 days of standby life and 26.2 h talk-time (2G) / 14.8 h talk-time (3G). It supports Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.
