Microsoft has unveiled two new smartphones, the Lumia 532 and the Lumia 532 Dual SIM. It will hit India and selected countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa in February for 79 Euros (roughly Rs 5,800).
Microsoft Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual SIM has identical specs; the expected one supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) while another features only a single SIM with 3G connectivity.
Microsoft Lumia 532 comes in bright orange, bright green, white, and black variant colors. It sports a 4-inch LCD WVGA (480×800 pixels) display with 233 PPI pixels of density. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Lumia 532 runs Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim and supports a micro-SIM card. It has 8GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 128GB of microSD card. The phone houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a VGA front-facing camera for video calling.
Both are backed by a 1560mAH Li-pol battery rated for up to 12 hrs (3G) / 20.9 (2G) of talk-time and up to 22 days standby. In terms of connectivity options, Microsoft Lumia 532 includes FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0,micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, and A-GPS. It measures 118.9 x 65.5 x 11.6 mm with 136.3 gms weight.
