Microsoft had launched the most affordable dual-SIM smartphone in India, Lumia 435 Dual SIM for Rs 5,999. The company has come into the market with Lumia 430, which will cost you only US $70 (Roughly Rs 4,999).
The Lumia 430 Dual SIM will begin rolling out in selected markets in the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus starting in April, while it will be made available in India at the end of April. The smartphone comes in Bright Orange and Black variant colors.
Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual SIM currently runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update, but it will be upgraded to Windows 10 when it becomes available. It features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) LCD with a pixel density of 235ppi.
The Lumia 430 Dual SIM is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It’s 8GB built-in storage is further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). The company is also offering 30GB of free OneDrive cloud storage.
The Lumia 430 Dual SIM is equipped with a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front camera is available for video calling. The handset is backed by a 1500mAh user-replaceable battery that claims 8.4 hours of talk time and 24 days of standby time. The device measures 120.5 x 63.19 x 10.63 mm and weighs 127.9 grams.
The Lumia 430 Dual SIM features Microsoft Office services (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote), Outlook, Skype, OneDrive, and users can download more apps from the Windows Phone Store. The Lumia Denim update will bring Live Folders, Cortana, and Apps Corner. The Lumia Camera is preinstalled on the device and brings the Lumia Selfie app to click, edit, and share selfies.
The smartphone’s connectivity options are FM Radio, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, and micro-USB.
