After the success of Canvas Tab P666, Micromax is planning to release a new tablet, dubbed Canvas Tab P470.
According to the leaked details, Micromax Canvas Tab P470 will be available in copper black and silver-white variant color with an expected price of Rs 9,999. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable using an external microSD card up to 32GB. It will be powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and coupled with MediaTek 8312 chipset.
Running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS, the Canvas Tab P470 will be supported by SIM Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby. It is also backed by a powerful 3200mAh battery rated for 11.5hrs of normal usage and up to 158 hours of standby time. It houses a 5MP rear camera, and on the opposite side, a VGA secondary camera for video chatting.
Micromax Canvas Tab P470 sports a 7-inch WSVGA TFT IPS touch display with 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution and 262K color depth. Connectivity options include FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, micro-USB v2.0, hotspot, GPS with A-GPS and 3G HSPA+. Along with a weight of 306 gms, the slate will support Ambient Light, Proximity, and Gravity sensors. It will support 21 Indian regional languages and will come with 28 speakers.
