Micromax – the international manufactures of data cards and smartphone, has listed another WiFi dongle, named it MMX219W, which can connect up to 8 devices simultaneously via its Wi-Fi.
Notably, the manufacturer has earlier released MMX 353W Data Card with Soft Wi-Fi, which is available in India for Rs 999; and MMX440W WiFi Router with power bank, available with a price of Rs 1599 via homeshop18.
According to Micromax’s official website, the MMX 219W can connect to the web at blazing 3G speeds. The dongle comes with pre-bundled Audiomax headphones.
The MMX219W is so easy to use; plug in your MMX219W into a socket or a USB Port of your PC/Laptop to make it a Wi-Fi hotspot and connect up to 8 devices on the go.
The MMX219W is a 3G WiFi dongle, features HSPA+, can download a file on the HSDPA network up to 21 Mbps, or upload limit in HSUPA is up to 5.76 Mbps.
The MMX219W ROM size is 128 MB and comes with 32 MB of RAM. Measuring the Micromax MMX 219W modem, dimension is 91.5(L) x27 (W) x11 (H) mm, weight 40 gm.
900/1800 MHz (GSM) and 2100 MHz (UMTS) operating frequency bands are supported by the MMX219W WiFi adapter.
2.4GHz WLAN band featured data card, can deliver the data in Wireless mode up to 150Mbps; also boast a memory card slot, can be used with an external MicroSD card of 32 GB capacity.
It features WiFi standard IEEE 802.11 b/g/n; the software supports SMS facility.
You can connect any laptop or desktop to the web as MMX219W works independent of operating systems (Supports Windows XP/ Vista/7/8, MAC 10.6, and higher version & Ubuntu 10.04, 12.04, 12.10).
The company has not revealed the dongle prices; maybe it will be sold out via e-commerce online websites.
