After a long break, Micromax has launched a new slate, dubbed Canvas Tab P666. It can be purchased in black color with a price of Rs 10999, starting 29 Nov 2014.
The Canvas Tab P666 is the first Micromax device, which is powered by an Intel-based processor. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor with Hyper-Threading technology, coupled with the PowerVR SGX544 GPU and clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a MicroSD card up to 32 GB.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 features an 8-inch WXGA (800*1280 pixels) IPS display. It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. A big 4410mAh Li-pol battery backs the handset. The device’s connectivity options are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and 3.5mm sound-jack. The handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
