Today, Micromax Canvas Tab P470 has been launched in India for Rs 6,999 (about 110 USD). It was expected to be launched under Rs 10,000 (about 158 USD).
According to the official website, the Micromax Canvas Tab P470 runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS and features a 7-inch IPS TFT (1024*600 pixels) display. An MT8312 1.3GHz dual-core processor powers the device with 1GB of RAM.
The Canvas Tab P470 is backed by a 3200 mAh Li-ion battery, rated for 158 hours of standby time, 11 hrs talk-time, up to 3.5 hrs of browsing, and 6 hrs of video playback time. It houses a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with flash, and a VGA front-facing camera is available for video calling using Skype.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P470 has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage onboard with an expansion slot (up to 32 GB). Along with 3G, it has WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual-SIM, and GPS as connectivity options. It comes with G-sensor, Proximity, Light sensor, and hall sensor.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P470 slate comes with various pre-installed apps like: Ask me, amazon, book my show, Dr. safety, Giga jump, grow away, hike, M! pick, M! Insurance, Opera, Where is my perry, Zapr, Truce caller, M! Live, Clean aster, M! Games, and M! Security.
It will be available in India from tomorrow, including online and offline stores.
