According to the online retailer listing, the Canvas Play features a 5.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels of resolution. The phablet is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It measures 155 x 79 x 9.9 mm.
The Micromax Canvas Play houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and sports a 0.3 MP front-facing shooter for video calling. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM, and the 8GB built-in storage is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
The Canvas Play includes Bluetooth, WIFI, GPS, FM Radio, 3G, dual-SIM, and 3.5mm sound-jack in terms of connectivity options. A 2820mAh Li-ion battery backs it.
