The Canvas Pep Q371 is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box, but no word when Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be available. It features a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (MediaTek’s MTK6582M chipset), which is coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The 8GB on-board storage of Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. The phone houses a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA camera on-board for selfie and video calling.
The Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth options on the connectivity front. Users should receive a notification informing them about the update when they connect to the Internet.
