Micromax Canvas Pep Q371The Canvas Pep Q371 is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box, but no word when Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be available. It features a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor (MediaTek’s MTK6582M chipset), which is coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The 8GB on-board storage of Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. The phone houses a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA camera on-board for selfie and video calling.

The Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth options on the connectivity front. It is backed by a 1700mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 210 hours of standby time and up to 6 hrs of talk-time. It will be available in Pristine White and Mystic Blue color variants.

Micromax has also announced the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its recently launched Canvas Xpress A99 smartphone, which was released with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Micromax Canvas Xpress is being pushed out over-the-air (OTA). Users should receive a notification informing them about the update when they connect to the Internet.
