Micromax has unveiled a new selfie-focused smartphone, dubbed Canvas Nitro A311. Till now, it is listed on the company website without the price tag.
Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 will be available in India in Mesmerizing Blue and Pristine White variant colors. It is a dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) phone that supports 3G and features dual standby functionality. The 16 GB of internal storage is also upgradable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. It comes with a faux-leather back panel.
The Canvas Nitro A311 is powered by a MediaTek MT6592 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. The handset runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS out of the box and packs a 2500 mAh Li-ion battery rated for up to 10 hrs of talk-time and 320 hrs of standby time.
Along with a 13 MP Sony rear camera, which supports 1080p video recording, the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 also houses a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. It sports a 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen display with 1280*720 pixels of resolution and 294 PPI pixel density. Connectivity options FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, micro-USB v2.0, hotspot, tethering, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS, and 3G HSPA+ are also included.
