Micromax Canvas A1 will be available in India, starting today with Rs 6499, exclusively through Amazon India.
Including Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V, and Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498 are “Google Android One” project smartphones. Specs-wise, all three phones are similar to each one, and only the differences are by design.
The Micromax Canvas A One features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display. It comes with 1GB of RAM and powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor with the Mali-400 GPU. The handset houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and boasts a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfie.
The new Canvas A1 comes with 4GB built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32 GB. A 1,700mAh battery backs it. In terms of connectivity options, the phone includes dual-SIM card slots, FM Radio, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3.5 mm Audio Jack.
The Micromax Canvas A1 is running on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.
