Micromax has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Bolt A066. It is listed in the company website of India without price tag and its availability details. It should be available in India soon through online stores.
The Micromax Bolt A066 comes in tranquil green, pristine white, raging red and smokey grey variant colours, but features only 2G network and quad GSM bands 850/900/1800/1900. It sports a 3.5-inch HVGA IPS display with 320*480 pixels of resolution and 512MB of RAM.
The Bolt A066 is powered by a MediaTek’s MT6571 chipset and dual core processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz. The new handset runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS and supports dual-SIM with dual standby functionality. It has 4GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card.
The Bolt A066 houses a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and also boasts a VGA front-facing camera. It is backed by a 1300mAh Li-ion battery that is rated for up to 6 hrs of talk-time and up to 160 hrs of standby. The phone has no GPS sensor.
Apart from the 2G, another connectivity options included in Micromax Bolt A066 are FM radio, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, and micro-USB. It supports gravity, proximity and light sensors.
