Kobian company has launched Mercury mTab Star M830G – a new tablet in India with Rs 6,999. The slate will be available in black color in August, but the company has not specified any date for the same.
The new Mercury mTab Star M830G comes with a 7-inch touch screen display and features dual-SIM (GSM+GSM / 3G+3G) with a voice calling facility. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box; however, it is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System.
The further specs come with a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS HD display and further powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. It packs an 8GB of inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The mTab Star M830G houses a 2-megapixel rear camera, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard for video calling through software. 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, and Bluetooth are the main connectivity options included.
Mercury mTab Star M830G is backed by a 2800mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 5 hours of mixed usage.
