Meizu has started offering Ubuntu Edition smartphone of Meizu MX4. The Linux-powered high-end smartphone is available in white and gold variant colors with a price of ¥1,799 (about $290) in China.
In terms of specs, the Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition features a 5.36-inch screen with a resolution of 1152 x 1920 pixels of resolution: approx 418ppi pixel density. A MediaTek MT6595 chipset powers it with an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU and PowerVR G6200MP4 GPU.
2GB of RAM is on board, and 16 GB of non-expandable storage unit is available in Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition. It also includes a 20.7 MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing snapper for selfies. A 3100mAh battery is helping in powering the phone.
