Meizu MX4 has been announced in China and is available for pre-order through its official store meizumart, and sales will start on Sep 20. The smartphone comes in Gray, White, and Gold variant colors. It is priced at 1799 CYN, 1999 CYN, and 2399 CYN, respectively, for the 16GB, 32 GB, and 64GB storage variants.
The Meizu MX4 houses 20.7 megapixels rear camera with SONY premium IMX220 Exmor RS sensor, 4X digital zoom with 300°panorama, Blue glass IR filter, Five-element lens, F/2.2 aperture, 0.3s AF motor, burst mode up to 25 photos per second, Lens-protective Corning Gorilla Glass3 and Nightlight stabilization (ISP built-in multi-frame noise reduction stabilization).
The MX4 also houses a 2 MP front-facing camera with a SONY IMX208 sensor, a Sharp 4P lens with a blue glass filter, an F/2.0 aperture, and Smart picture enhancement. It runs on Flyme OS 4.0, based on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
Meizu MX4 sports 5.36-inch Sharp/JDI screen with 85% Tonal range, 1920 x 1152 pixels resolution, 1100:1 contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 max brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, New Mode2/ IPS, and OGS.
The phablet is powered by MediaTek 6595 Octa-Core (A17 2.2GHz x 4 + A7 1.7GHz x 4) processor and Quad-Core PowerVR G6200 GPU, which is clocked at 600MHz, alongside 2GB dual-channel LPDDR3 RAM.
The Meizu MX4 supports TD-LTE / FDD-LTE / TD-SWCDMA / WCDMA / GSM networks. In terms of connectivity, it includes 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G), Bluetooth 4.0 HID, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, BDS, Digital compass and Inertial navigation.
The phone comes with a set of sensors: Ambient, Gravity, Hall Effect, Infrared proximity, Gyroscope, Ambient light, Touch-sensitive, and Digital compass. The phone body is made of aircraft-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy, says the company.
