LG Unveils G Flex 2 with 5.5-inch Curved Body and P-OLED Display

In the event of CES 2015, LG has unveiled G Flex 2. It should be available in the market this month only. However, a firm has not announced any pricing yet.

LG’s flagship smartphone G Flex 2 will be available in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red colors. It sports a 5.5-inch Curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution: the screen and body feature self-healing back panel coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The LG G Flex 2 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset and Quad-core 1.5 GHz (Cortex-A53) or Quad-core 2 GHz (Cortex-A57) processor. It is further coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and runs Android 5.01 Lollipop OS. It supports a micro-SIM slot.

The G Flex 2 comes with 2GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage or 3GB RAM with 32 GB of internal storage and further expandable with up to 128 GB of MicroSD cards. The phone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with Laser Autofocus, Dual LED flash, and optical image stabilization. It also sports a 2.1-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

The LG G Flex 2 is backed by a non-removable Li-PO 3000 mAh battery. The connectivity options include FM Radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS. It measures 149.1 x 75.3 x 7.1-9.4 mm, and its weight is 152 gms. It supports accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, compass, and gyro sensors.
