LG G3 Prime in Korea with Snapdragon 805 Quad-Core SoC & LTE-A from 25 July

LG’s G3, another variant model G3 prime, is going to launch in its homeland Korea. According to the news, LG G3 Prime will be on sale in Korea from 25 Jul with the alternate name LG G3 Cat.6.

In terms of specs, LG G3 Cat.6 will bear all of the same specs as the existing LG G3. However, it will come with an updated duad core Snapdragon 805 chipset, which is clocked at 2.7GHz of speed, and a new advanced Cat 6 modem, which can download a file up to 300 Mbps. The LG has not revealed the official prices, but in rumors, it should be 940,500 KRW, which is equivalent to 916 USD or Rs 55,000.

LG‘s flagship budget android smartphone, LG G3 Cat.6, will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS touch screen display. It comes with a 16 GB and 32 GB variant storage model, and the storage can be further upgraded with an external MicroSD card (Up to 128 GB).

The LG G3 Cat.6 houses a primary 13.0 MP with OIS+ and Laser Auto Focus, and also a 2.1 Mega Pixel frontal camera are available for video calling and selfies. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System out-of-the-box.

Smart Keyboard, Smart Notice, Knock Code, and Guest Mode are additional features of the LG G3 Cat.6 phone.

The handset will not be available in India since there are no Cat 6 services from any network provider. It will be further announced in those countries where Cat 6 will be available.
