LeTV – popular Chinese video streaming website like YouTube and Netflix, has entered into smartphone market, and launched three near bezel-less display smartphones – the LeTV One, LeTV One Pro and the LeTV One Max. These three dual-SIM smartphones come with USB Type-C ports, which are said to be the first in the world
The LeTV One is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,000 / 242 US Dollar) for 16GB variant, CNY 1,599 (Approx. Rs. 16,000 / 258 USD) for 32GB and CNY 1,799 (About Rs. 18,000 / 290 US Dollar) for 64GB.
The LeTV One features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution / 403 PPI pixels of density) display and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, that runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It is further coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
The phablet comes in three storage variant model : 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The LeTV One handset houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, dual-LED flash, and a f2.0 lens. While there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on-board for selfies.
There is a 3000mAh battery installed in LeTV One. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, WiFi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X support, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and MHL. It includes infra-red remote control, electronic compass, hall, gravity, ambient light, gyroscope, and proximity sensors.
The measures 147.8 x 74.2 x 9.5 mm and weighs 170 grams. The device will be available in a White colour. It features a USB 2.0 Type-C port and MHL 2.0, which can be considered as big highlight.
According to the firm, the EUI, which is present in the LeTV One, will cover LeTV’s TV phone and auto applications. The mobile version of EUI will feature functionalists like Live Desk, Application Desk, and LeView. The Live Desk let users view online live broadcasting, satellite T, LeChannel and StarCast. The LeView function will enable users to search, aggregate, recommend, remark and share.
