Lenovo’s Zuk Z1 with 4100mAh battery and fingerprint sensor launched

Lenovo‘s on-line only brand – the Zuk, has been launched with its first smartphone – the Z1 in China. Costing CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 18,250), the smartphone will go on-sale beginning Aug 18.

The z1 contains alloy frameworks around the handset. It features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS screen and a physical home button on the front panel. Especially, the fingerprint reader is also embedded by the home option on the Z1 smart-phone. It has a Hardware Type-C 3.0 USB interface.

Beneath the cover, the new smartphone packages Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip clocked at 2.5GHZ in conjunction with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The phone facilitates double Nano-SIM cards and works Android 5.1.1 LolliPop. It carries 64 GB of storage that is built-in.

The smart-phone houses a 13-mega-pixel rear camera with a Sony sensor (IMX214) and optical image stabilization (OIS), yet another feature found in high-end smartphones. There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera also aboard. It will also be obtained in Gray and White colors and packs a substantial 4100mAh battery. It measures 155.7 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 175 grams.
